In order to meet society’s demands for sustainable energy solutions, there needs to be effective communication between practitioners and decision makers. Energy Strategy Reviews is a quarterly journal that will launch in February 2012 as a platform for the exchange of knowledge on energy planning and decision making. It will also highlight major energy initiatives and encourage discussion of what differentiates the successful strategies from the less successful.

Energy Strategy Reviews will publish:

• Strategy analyses
• Case studies
• Executive summaries and commentaries

Edited by an International Editorial Board, the new journal will interest energy specialists working in government institutions, academia, international agencies, NGOs, and in energy companies and consultancies.

The Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Ruud Weijermars, is a senior practitioner specializing in independent strategy analysis and training. He is also affiliated to Delft University of Technology, where his research focus is on the gas value chain, petroleum economics and technology.
